When the Holidays are Not so Happy

December 2018: 

Our prevention club students came up with a simple campaign designed at reaching out to all middle and high school students- offering home-baked cookies and cocoa in the cafeteria. On December 7th we had about a dozen students meet up after school to bake and decorate cookies with a handful of community members, parents, and even Ms. Melissa's mom.  On December 10th, those cookies were distributed along with hand written notes on cups of cocoa to all students in the cafeteria. The event was a great success, and plans are already in the works for next year!
